Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) – Ongoing Contract

Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill part-time Board Certified Behaviour Analyst positions in Toronto. This position is an on-going Independent Contractor Position.

The Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs for autistic children. This BCBA will have a proven record of working as a team leader. The RBA will be expected to collaborate with an SLP, OT, and other disciplines while providing their expertise in ABA to generate an individualized program for each child.

The successful candidate will be in good standing as a Registered Behaviour Analyst with the college of psychologists and behaviour analysts of Ontario. 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing assessment in a home setting based.
  • Designing a treatment plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively engaging clients, families, caregivers, and therapists to address client-centered goals.
  • Actively engaging in client/family and therapist coaching.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention, client’s response, and progress toward achieving goals.
  • Providing evidence-based assessment and intervention.

  • Designing a treatment plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively engaging clients, families, and caregivers to address client-centered goals.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention, client’s response, and progress toward goal attainment.
  • Providing evidence-based assessment and intervention using SMART goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with children and teens diagnosed with Autism.
  • Proof of current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill part-time Respite Worker positions. Respite workers will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in the children’s home.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with self-care and recreation activities.
  • Update client’s family members on condition of their loved ones and progress as necessary.
  • Make home visits to clients that have various diagnoses.
  • Provide respite care on a planned or emergency basis during the day, evenings or weekends.
  • Write progress notes regarding client objectives and goals.
  • Report all suspicions of child abuse or child endangerment.

Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill part-time Board Certified Behaviour Analyst positions in the Greater Toronto Area. This position is an independent contractor position. The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of applied behaviour analysis programs for autistic children. This BCBA will have a proven record of working as a team leader.

The BCBA will be expected to collaborate with SLP, OT, and other disciplines while providing their expertise in ABA to generate an individualized program for each child. The successful candidate will be in good standing with the BACB and be an approved Clinical Supervisor under the OAP guidelines.
